CERI Climate Cafes 2024

Online CERI climate cafes in collaboration with our Australian partner Psychology For A Safe Climate

Climate Café

At our Café there is no guest speaker, no advice given, no call for action. Instead, you’ll find a supportive, facilitated conversational space for people to gather and share thoughts and feelings in response to the climate crisis. Here you can voice concerns that may not be welcomed or echoed elsewhere in your daily life. You’re invited to share with interested others how you’re really feeling at this challenging time.

Creating supportive connections with Psychology for a Safe Climate

This webinar will explore the difference between climate distress and climate emotions, the role of deep listening and dialogue in building climate resilience and wellbeing. Come join our friends from Psychology for a Safe Climate (PSC) as they unpack how climate distress is a psycho-social-cultural phenomenon and explore actions we can take to work through difficult emotional barriers including examples of community workshops and Climate Cafes.
